The "La Villetta" Residence is situated in an old historical town near Fontechiaruccia, between Arrone and Montefranco. Fontechiaruccia is in one of the most beautiful areas of Umbria called Valnerina, and it is near the road that once was the main connection between Rome and the Adriatic Coast.
The La Villetta Residence comprehends 18 rooms and are equipped with a bathroom with shower, heating, telephone and satellite television. They are all situated around the bar and restaurant, which have been fashioned according to the style of the old Umbrian country houses.
In a suggestive little square made of ancient stone our guests will find at their disposal restored ancient oven pizzas, bar, restaurant and meeting room for meetings or events. The stone ceilings with wooden beams go well with the natural landscape which surrounds the residence; they also take into account the enogastronomical culture of the area while always keeping in mind those for whom holiday is synonymous with relaxation. The black truffle and the master pork butchers will satisfy the demanding palates of those who wish to savor the authentic flavors of past.
Mild valleys, gentle hills, lakes and rivers everywhere: these are the main elements that make this land incredibly beautiful. The suppleness of some landscapes is balanced by the grandness of others in an incredible example of natural poetry. La Villetta is situated inside the Parco del fiume Nera, only ten minutes away from Terni, city devoted to Saint Valentine, the patron of love. Located inside the new natural park, also known as Parco delle Acque, the La Villetta Residence offers its guests wonderful excursions of great historical, cultural and natural interest.
From here one can quickly reach various important Umbrian cities such as Assisi (40 minutes by car), the city of Saint Francis and Saint Clara, patron saints of Italy, Spoleto, known for its Roman heritage and for the Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of the Two Worlds), Perugia, with its millenary history which extends from the Etruscans to the Chocolate Festival. For those who instead wish to immerge themselves in nature, there are many sports and activities that can help, such as rafting and canoeing on the Nera River, free-climbing along the rocky walls of Arrone, beautiful horseback rides to relax after a day spent parasailing. The common denominator is always the same: we want our guests to be happy, and that is why we try to make them feel at home...
