While the staff was very helpful, courteous and professional, I was disappointed that the hotel advertised the availability of Vi-Fi only to learn that it was not free as is the case in other hotels where we stayed in several other countries. The hotel advertised that it accepted American Express cards. However, when I used it, the hotel tacked on a 3% service charge. When we checked out prior to the 11:00 AM check out time, we wanted to visit the Nation British Museum for a couple of hours before going to the airport later in the afternoon. Finally, the room was very small such that the width of the room was just 6 inches wider than the length of the bed. On checking out we discovered that the hotel had a policy of charging for storage of baggage for this short period of time at a rate of at least 1.5 pounds per bag. These policies do not reflect its status as a 2 star hotel.

Basement room charge to high for quality of accommodation very cramped and poor outlook, in fact no outlook a grimy stairwell.
On the positive good wifi when it worked (email problems when I was there)

our room was in the basement near the service cupboard. it was noisy, the walls were thin so we could hear people and tv in the next door rooms. we could hear people in the breakfast room long before we were ready to get up. the beds were comfortable, the room was clean but the bathroom had a missing tile and the shower needed a scrub with bleach. for the price the breakfast was poor value. however the receptionist who greeted us on arrival was very welcoming. we would not revisit this hotel.

la stanza nr. 71 a noi assegnata era di dimensioni standard per quel tipo di hotel (piccola)ma il lavabo era talmente mignon che anche un bambino avrebbe avuto difficoltà ad operare.
Nonostante il grado di soddisfazione non sia negativo non consiglerei l'hotel Arriva per quel lavabo decisamente piccolo e angusto e per la ristrettezza della stanza anche se convengo che è uno standard per quella categoria di hotel.
A Londra scelgo sempre hotel vicini a Kings Cross/St Pancras Int per poter utilizzare i mezzi pubblici quali metro (6 linee) e treni locali. Quest'anno ho utilizzato anche l'Eurostar per spostarmi a Parigi.

Stanza piccola ma essenziale e soprattutto ben pulita! Zona fornitissima di servizi grazie alla prossimità con la stazione di King's Cross, facile da raggiungere.
Le uniche pecche sono la mancanza del bidet e i cuscini troppo bassi.
Vivamente consigliato :)

Second stay in hotel, second room i had was a little smaller than first one.
1 broken light on bathroom, mirror, minor nuisance.
I liked a lot a very clean room with a clean private bathroom.

More tables for breakfast are needed; ideally to sit 2 persons. Too many tables for 4 people were under occupied forcing sharing a dirty table with earlier guests. Otherwise the hotel was ok. Our bathroom was very good.

A clean place to lay your head, nothing more. A very small room, hard to move around.
The desk clerk saved us a major hassle by informing us that the underground to Heathrow was closed for maintenance. If we had not known that, we would have had a tough time getting out.

Cet hotel est très correct, nous y avions déjà séjourné.
Cependant, j'ai été très déçue cette fois car nous avons eu une chambre sur rue avec une fenêtre deffectueuse la 1ère nuit ce qui nous a empeché de dormir une bonne partie de celle ci.
Je le conseillerai donc pour les petits budgets mais uniquement avec une chambre coté cour.

La camera è essenziale, il bagno piccolo, ma c'è tutto ciò che serve per un soggiorno turistico. Molto buona la pulizia, cambio di asciugamani quotidiano. Classica colazione europea (dolce e salato) con tanto di pane fresco tostato. Lo consiglio vivamente per rapporto qualità-prezzo.

das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich
aber in den Räumen und vor allem im Frühstücksraum fehlen ein paar kleinigkeiten die den Aufenthalt freundlicher gestalten könnten,
ob Dekoration oder ein wenig Obst und Gemüse am Frühstückstisch...
Ansonsten für einen kurzaufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen!

Although the hotel is ideally situated five minutes walk from two mainline stations (10-15 from Euston, 5 from King's X and St Pancras) and a major tube station serving 6 lines, the hotel was only adequate. The rooms were dirty, with scuff marks on the walls and dirt on the radiators. The shower/WC was fine but not for the claustrophobic!
The breakfast was small, with toast and coffee carefully rationed. The breakfast room was too small for the numbers of guests, although once seated service was reasonably prompt.
The staff at reception were friendly but had little knowledge of London and were unable to assist with enquiries such as nearest tube station for given places.
All in all, some improvements are needed before I could honestly recommend the hotel. Anyone paying the rack rate would find it terrible value for money.

The stay was great. great location and there is an elevator to the floors. Many hotels in the area have all stairs and many different levels.

Nice hotel with an excellent location. The room was little but clean and comfortable.
Very good place to stay for a couple of days. Breakfast could be a bit more generous eventhough it was sufficient (toast with ham and cheese or jam + coffee, tea and juices). I would have appreciated to get some englich breakfast instead of continental one.
A place to recommend especially for its good price and location. Largely sufficient if you only consider the hotel as a place to sleep !

Cheap, clean and well situated hotel. Very basic breakfast, windows difficult to open, little inconveniences, but globally ok, regarding of the price and geographic situation.

Windows were not sealed and there was a cold draft from them. It was like sleep on the street due the noice from street and cold draft.

In realtà l'albergo per un paio di notti, senza troppe pretese, è accettabile.
Le camere sono essenziali, la pulizia è all'inglese (scarsa)
Il personale alla reception è poco cordiale e la colazione è scarsa in una sala talmente minuscola che a volte bisogna aspettare che si liberi un tavolino.

Three little things would have helped a lot.
1. A coat hook on the bedroom door
2. A coat hook on the inside of the bathroom door.
3. A small shelf under the mirror in the bathroom.
The room itself was OK but the pillows very thin and the matresses hard. Also, why was there a large fridge in the room?? (Rm 85). But it was very convenient, clean and breakfast adequate.

Escribo en español, en general estaba todo bien pero para mi gusto el desayuno era escaso, aunque claro se trataba del desayuno continental. No tienen leche caliente, y el café no nos gustó nada. Esos son los dos problemas que remarcaría del desayuno, el primero que no tienen leche caliente, y el segundo es que falta más variedad porque no habían pastas, solo habían tostadas que te ponían 2 para cada uno, cereales (2 clases), mermelada y mantequilla para huntar en las tostadas y de embutido había solo jamón dulce y queso.
Lo bueno es que cerca del hotel hay supers y sitios donde comprar comida para llebar y el hotel no te pone ninguna pega por entrar la comida.
Nosotras íbamos con la impresión de que al abrir la puerta nos chocaríamos con la cama pero la verdad es que la habitación estaba mejor de lo que esperábamos al igual que el lavabo que pensábamos que sería más pequeño. Pero para calidad y precio y también por la ubicación lo recomendaría y desde luego si volvería a ir al mismo. (eso si la verdad que Londres es un poco ruidoso)

The mattress had a BIG hollow in it. The radiator seemed only to have two settings: very hot or cool. Breakfast is served too late for someone who has an 8.40 Eurostar; good thing they provide tea and biscuits in the room.
