The well preserved cellar rooms, presently housing a restaurant, are from the Gothic period. The Renaissance can be appreciated in the original painted beam ceilings of both the public premises and the guest rooms, whilst the entrance portal reminds of the Baroque reconstruction of the house. The façade is of great interest also due to its relation to Peter Brandl, a famous 17th century altar painter who was born and lived in the house. All further adaptations implied new architectural elements, with Classicism also playing an important feature. The first written records of the house date back to the 15th century. The Gothic period have been preserved cellars where the restaurant is located and the wine shop. The Renaissance is represented by polychrome ceilings with exposed beams in some rooms. In the years 1994-95 a challenging reconstruction was performed during which all were faithfully restored the historic elements that have been sensitively integrated in furnishing luxury of modern times. The authenticity of the story is also underlined by original period furniture chosen with a careful approach to the individuality of the individual rooms.
