It is a small and beautiful hotel in the center of the city of Camagüey, located in a typical colonial house, only one floor high and built around a central patio.
Her name pays tribute to Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, the Cuban poetess born in 1814 in Santa María de Puerto Príncipe, former name of the city, recognized as one of the most important writers of Spanish Romanticism.
The hotel is elegantly decorated with portraits of the writer, works inspired by her poems, colonial furniture and abundant vegetation.
All rooms are located on the ground floor surrounding the interior courtyard of the house, equipped with tables and chairs that allow you to enjoy breakfast every morning or taste typical Cuban cocktails.
