This hotel was situated in a good location, it was very clean and welcoming. Our suite was cleaned everyday. The reception staff was polite and courteous. It was very central to everything.
The breakfast could have a better variety of different foods, the selection wasn't the best.
I will be returning next year.

The Breakfast was not fresh, the fruit was old and there were lots of lies around. The service was bad as well.
I ate one dinner at the hotel. When checking out, the receptionist tried to charge me 3 dinners. When I asked to see the receipt, she could only show me one which was from my first night and the only dinner I had at the hotel. The food was no good why I didn't eat dinner at the hotel. I felt they tried to cheat me.
I will not recommend this hotel, and will not go back again.

I have been to this hotel before & did complain at the time that to charge €15 to use the spa facilities in the hotel is too much & it should really be free to use for customers in the hotel.In the UK the use of pool sauna etc is free to customers of the hotel.For my stay the Spa would have cost me £115 to use the spa for 1 week which is too expensive.Also on the occasions I did use the spa I was told the changing room was no longer available & that I would have to go back up to my hotel room change in to my swimming costume & have to walk through the hotel covered in a towel I an 64 years old & found this embarrassing & unessaressry.

Overall stay was great, I extended to stay 2 more nights as a result. There needs to be a room service menu in room if its offered as the room service staff could not understand english very well.

Please provide kettle in the room. I have to go to the bar and ask the staff to give me boiled water. And the swimming pool, are they supposed to be free access for your hotel guest..

Generaly good Hotel other than the Bar man was probably the rudest bar man I have ever come in contact with. I complained and asked to speak with the manager but no manager was available and no manager bothered to get in contact with me afterwards - Not impressed.
The other members of staff are all very nice and helpfull so it is a shame as this man let the whole Hotel down and so did the manager. I would not use the Hotel again on the back of this especially as lots of people moaned about him but nothing was done. If you would like a drink at the pool or outside - forget it. If you would like a drink inside at the bar then wait till he is ready - which could be a while as he likes to do anything other than serve!! When he does serve he is rude and tells you off.
The Hotel Location was not great.
Barcelona however is fantastic.

This hotel is pleasant enough. There is a very noisy nightclub next door which opens late at night and stays open till 4 or 5 in the morning so I advise you to take some earplugs if you'd find that annoying. The corridors and rooms could do with the occasional insect spray as some of us got bitten in our rooms. I wished my air con was more effective. If you want a bath en-suite you'd better ask for one because many rooms only have a shower. The bar wasn't open at night which was a shame as the part of town the hotel is in is a bit dead. The staff are very relaxed and the desk staff are very helpful. Be good to have more attentive service in the outside bar area but at least that means that you don't feel hassled or that you can't sit there for hours doing your own thing.

Good hotel, except one thing. It's absolutely impossible to sleep, due to the nightclub nearby. I used ear plugs from Formula One to go into sleep. Weak area is true, but 10 minutes from the sea, 5-7 from nice area with gross shops, library, sport center, about 10 minutes from Agbar Tower and 15 from Sagrada Familia of course by walk. Of course I should say, that at the same time too much garages and old buildings, but at the same time you can see absolutely new apartment complex with fountain in the yard near abandoned building. I think in several years all old building will demolished and it will be nice area.

It would have been nice to have a kettle and cups in the room to make tea and coffee.
I was quite surprised when the bar man tried to charge me for 2euros 55 cents for a cup of milk. I had to walk a very long distance to the supermarket just to buy some milk which was quite annoying.
I was also surprised that the hotel receptionist took payment form my credit card on arrival - that is not normal procedure. So I was not very happy about that.
The hotel receptionist mentioned the taxi to the CCIB convention would be about 6 or 7 euros and infact charged more than 8 euros for a 6 minute journey! Unbelievable!
The area where the hotel was located was sadly quite unpleasant, particularly for a nice hotel.

The hotel is a nice place to stay, rooms are small but comfortable and the staff is friendly. The location is not top, but for the price paid very good. We used the spa and were surprised off the facilities the hotel offers, though the noise of the motors and the smell of wetness in walls were a bit disturbing.
But I will not go back and will not recommend the hotel because of the enormous noise at night from the club in the direct neigbourhood. We were waked in the middle of the night by a constant heavy beat and electro music and when opening the curtains we could see the purple electric light flashing on the other side of the patio.
Even with eardops the beat and heavy music got through, we could even feel the beat. This problem is not caused by the hotel, but I will not take the risk of staying at the nice place again and laying in bed, waiting till the club closes his doors in the morning after 6 o'clock. A real pity!!

Minus: Majority of the staff speak poor english. Double bed in our room was very hard – almost torture to sleep on it. During the weekend between 00:00-05:30 it got extremely noisy due to a club situated nearby. Try avoiding a room facing the street.
Plus: metro station is just 5 min away from the hotel. Ok breakfast, great sauna and room price.
