Hotel was clean. The room and bath are adequate for busy tourist wanting to sleep and bath. On the down side the walls are thin and the air condition didn't work, it took two days to fix. Luckily the June weather was cool and the windows opened and had shutters for privacy. It worked well after being repaired. Location was good, access to all of Paris via the Metro station which is about half a block away. This is a non tourist area with many small shops and sidewalk restaurants. Recommend the "Cave" wine shop a few doors away. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful in make wine selections.

When searching online for a hotel in Paris, the photos of this particular one were very attractive in-line with the kind of price we were hoping to pay for our stay. However, when we got to the hotel we discovered that, cosmetically, our room and the public spaces such as the corridors and stairs looked very tired and dated and so didn't seem to match the pictures we had seen previously. The walls were a bit dirty and there were cigarette holes in my bedding, and in general we felt the interior could do with a refurbishment. However, that didn't matter too much as the room size was okay and we were happy with the cost because, importantly for us, the hotel was well positioned for Metro links to the main attractions.

The location was ideal as it was close to the Metro, tourist attractions and shopping.
A leak in the bathroom required a room change and the hotel staff were very accommodating.
The carpets throughout the hotel and in the rooms were filthy and the colour scheme through the passageways created a dark and dingy feel. The bath/shower was difficult to get in and out of, as they were high sided and slippery. Non slip mats could be an advantage.
We could suggest this hotel to others if the cleanliness was improved.

Locatiion is quiet, some distance from main tourist areas but Metro handy and travel easy. Clean, friendly helpful staff, overall good value for money.

It is a typical small Parisian hotel - tiny rooms, but very clean and neat, with very helpful English-speaking staff. Great location too: 100m to the nearest metro station, 400m to the Seine River, and an easy kilometre's walk to the Eiffel Tower, with lots of cafes and shops of all kinds in the immediate area.
