Perfect location. Wonderful staff. Spectacular breakfast. Lovely room. Excellent service. A genuine 5 star experience in the traditional European style.
This is a true 5 star hotel and management and staff (all of them) must be congratulated for excellent service and warmth. Thank you.
Great staff all around.
Shanti in the bar was beyond excellent. We were very pleased to have him serve us and my clients. His attention to detail was impeccable, his attentiveness was without delay, and his mixology skills were beyond reproach.
AND, he makes the best martini in the land!
Bravo Shanti!

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at inItaly. Wonderful staff, hotel and location. Food also superb. A great place to stay
The hotel is in town centre and within walking distance to practically all facilities and attractions.
My only problem has been that somebody signed on my room number at the bar.
The problem has been quickly solved when I checked out.
Great location and service.
The gym should not be even considered.
Amazing location and service.
A truly beautiful, traditional hotel. The hotel also offers a pick up service from Bologna Airport which is a great added value service at a reasonable price.
We left a feedback on checkout already.
Apart from the too small TV and bad reception there was a problem with the lock at the room door room Nr 222
The music at breakfast was not nice, american music! It would be nice if Italian Music could be played!
We stayed for 5 nights. Excellent service throughout: very good team of staff. Very good central location.
I would never use Uni travel again. The level of discount is totally at odds with the cancellation policy and is cleverly hidden from view when you accept.
this hotel was a magnificent place to stay! We would highly recommend it, and look forward to coming back one day!

We were told at check in that we had been upgraded to a quiet room. The room might normally be quiet but unfortunately at the time of our visit extensive work was taking place at a neighbouring building. We suffered noise from the arriving workmen from 6.30am in the morning and some kind of machinery was in operation throughout the night so it certainly did not merit the description of quiet.
The Hotel is very old, the rooms are very old fashion, heavy and dark. The service from the hotel was ok. The people in the reception gave me a very bad recommendation for lunch in the city. Also I have never seen a hotel that keeps your passaport and doesn't give it back to you immediately after the checkin. I left the city and had to come all the way back just to get my passport that the reception had forgotten.
very helpful staff. small exercise room limited hours. Very good food. beautiful hotel
I would have liked to see a photo on the internet of the outside of the hotel. I don't think it would have changed our mind but would have liked to know it was on such a busy street.
We had great concierge service by Massimo who went above and beyond for us and really cared that we enjoyed the places he recommended for our New Year's Eve dinner.
We were give a room upgrade upon check-in which was awesome. The rooms were huge and grand!
Location to the main square is excellent as well.
A second door at the end of the little corridor inside the room would be a great progress — one would feel much more private. The hotel should also ask its maids not to wear hard heels (specially since the floor is in wood). Ah, and in the restaurant, servers should absolutely not use your table or its annex table to serve and specially unserve the next table — it's not pleasant, in the restaurant of a good hotel, to have other people dirty plates under one's nose (and eyes). But on the whole we are speaking here of a very good hotel, very well located, with a splendid restaurant room. The rooms, although pretty much on the kitsch side (fake XVIIIth century furniture), are very confortable and ours had a large balcony.
