Our second visit at this hotel and we love it. So close to Ponte Vecchio and staff has always been stellar.

Superb location and pleasant environment of the hotel - like the service and the roof terrace. The breakfast room is spacious and pleasant but the quality of the food is not acceptable for a four-star hotel. The coffee is undrinkable, as is the fruit juice, the fruit salad was sour, and the hot food was tepid. Italians don't place importance on breakfast, but tourists with a long day ahead on their feet expect nourishing food to sustain them.

Great location and great service. Only downside was getting to the hotel by auto -- to many one-way streets plus no easily visible street signs. Don't drive -- take the train or air and go to the hotel by taxi

My wife and I were amazed at this hotel. We were shown to our room by the porter. When we got to our room they had put us in an apartment which included a downstairs and upstairs mezzanine. We had 2 bathrooms, 2 tv's, 2 arm chairs, lamps everywhere and a Queen size bed. It was spotlessly clean. The location was excellent, only 2 mins from City centre. Breakfast was brilliant - everything you could want. Staff very helpful and a very cheerful and friendly barman who makes an excellent cup of tea! We will definitely stay there again.

Our first evening was on the first floor with a view of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio Bridge...however the Friday night traffic past the windows did't allow for sleep. Lucia moved us to the back side of the hotel for the rest of the stay. The prompt handling was very much appreciated!

The bathroom was well equipped, but very narrow !!
A Shower curtain would have been nice, instead of having to wet half the bathroom, when taking a shower !!
2. Rock musac for breakfast is not our preference, but was closed off on request !!
3. Otherwise we were very pleased with the hotel !
