it was a bit hard to find. We were very satisfied with the customer service and returned again on our third night or stay. Thoughtfulness and service to details, made us feel welcomed.complimentary water in the room was nice

I would recommend taking a water taxi(despite the expense) directly to the hotel as it is hard to find on foot before you get your bearings. Make sure you book via the hotel and get the details of where you should be dropped off. The location is perfect - just avoid the main tourist attractions at the height of the day as it is very busy on route from the hotel to the Rialto Bridge and San Marco which could be off putting. I would most certainly stay at this hotel if I return to Venice.

the hotel was actually more charming and intimate than the web site portrayed it. The web site makes it look as though the hotel building was just built which I believe detracts from the actual charm of the hotel when one experiences it.
we took a water taxi to the hotel and were very glad we did since subsequent explorations on foot revealed that, particularly if you came down from the Rialto bridge, you would never find Calle Malvasia from that direction! We arranged our own water taxi to the hotel-but the one that the hotel booked for us on our return was significantly less expensive so i would take them oup on there offer to arrange transportation for you.

Wonderful small hotel in a perfect location - great restaurants close by and very helpful staff. Be sure you follow the website directions on how to get there the first time! We'd stay again and recommend the hotel to anyone! Hey Rick Steves - come look at this one - you'd love it!

We had a lovely 6 day stay. The staff were all very helpful and we would definitely stay again.
The only improvement for us would be the provision of tea and coffee making equipment in the room.

The hotel is a little tricky to find, but worth it!! A slightly more detailed map on the website would be helpful and we suggested this to the manager who had asked if we had any trouble finding the hotel. We found the staff to be unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful.
The hotel is ideally situated between the Rialto and St Marks Square, both can be reached within five minutes. The hotel is in a quiet location but everything you need is within easy access.
The hotel is beautifully furnished but would benefit from tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and the hotel has no bar, or at least not one that we found!
