Room was small but perfectly functioning. However it would have been tight for my husband who is very tall. Very informative staff on front desk.

This is a great hotel. We stayed for two nights and decided that we would come back on our last night in Florence a couple of days later if they had availability. They did and we were just as pleased. We would recommend this hotel and if we return to Florence, we will book at Hotel Alba.

We found both the hotel & staff to be very welcoming - especially coming at the end of our trip; just what we needed.
Our only real complaint concerned the quirky Italian practice of not having air conditioning available until the 1st May. To air the room you needed to open the window, which then made it quite noisy. Fortunately the nights were cool & we could sleep with the window closed.

Bed was very very hard. Hopefully they will wear in. Find this is a problem with newly refurbished hotels on the continent generally. Breakfast was first class and no issues at all in us taking it outside of normal breakfast hours due to an early departure. Pizzeria two doors up is worth a visit.

This hotel was the best I stayed in during the trip in Italy, the only room I found for improvement was the breakfast offered did not meet the quality of the other hotels I stayed in during my stay in Italy.
