It is a typical mountain hotel, consisting of 2 Austrian Chalet style buildings nestled in the mountains, adjacent to the immense tropical rainforest. The hotel offers spectacular views and personalized service in a comfortable, rustic, atmosphere combined with the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Its philosophy is centered in nature, delicious and nutritional meals.

Restaurant offers an open menu with different types of food made by our recognized chef. The hotel offer food prepared at the hotel, with locally produced ingredients.
Take the Inter-American Highway north from San José to the 149 km road marker. Turn right before crossing the Río Lagarto and continue 35 km up the road. It takes about 4 h from San José to Monteverde.
